The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA),
Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth, and the Masonry Institute
of Michigan (MIM) recognize the value of establishing a cooperative
relationship to promote a safer construction work environment for the state
of Michigan. MIOSHA and MIM will form an alliance to provide the
construction industry and MIOSHA construction staff with information,
guidance, and training resources to help protect employees' safety,
particularly in minimizing hazardous exposure to masonry walls under
construction that are above grade. www.michigan.gov/miosha
